Lazy day!

Sometimes one just don't have the energy for a real walk (sniffin' and a peeing as you go) so you hitch a ride. I think Charlotte has the right idea in letting some else do the walking!

Initial parenting suggestions

In a recent blog post by the parents of Baby Florek (AKA "Little Foot" or more appropriately "Kicking Foot"), the Momma asked:

"I know that I am definitely not capable of raising this child the way it should be, but with God's help I hope that Matt and I will be able to bring up Little Foot to be who God wants him/her to be. Parenting seems like a daunting task. Any major suggestions from those of you who are already parents?"

Well mom/dad Florek, since you've asked, I do have some serious reservations. I'm not a parent (I was robbed of that chance when I was just a wee little poodle puppy) and I may be just a dumb mutt, but I keep me eyes open (though they are clouding over lately as I age - I ran into a table leg the other day). Anyway, here are some suggestions I have based on some "photographic evidence" I've been able to accumulate over the years.

Suggestion: Teach them that nature can be bountiful in life's rewards (click on an image for a large view):

Not only can drugs (pappa) and booze (momma)kill you, but they lead to S T R A N G E behaviour Busted.:



Once you are on drugs and booze you are liable to do things you shouldn't. Like breaking the law by picking North Shore wild flowers! B U S T E D!!!



We may be wondering now if these two are really fit to be parents. Hmmmm... I'll go look for more evidence one way or the other and post back if I have time (sleeping and just generally laying around takes so much of my time. Sigh).
